It gives me great pleasure, as the Principal of The Millennium School Surat, in extending my warmest welcome to students, parents, and staff, for a new and exciting academic year 2022-2023.

"The mind is not a vessel that needs filling,but wood that needs igniting-" As we begin our new session,let's ignite the young minds by making them more creative, curious, conversant and solicitous.

I would like to draw your attention to the school motto—lifelong learners. In my opinion, learning is not filling our minds with information, but trying to better ourselves with every passing day. This year, I encourage you to rally around the mission “Excellence is the expectation”.

To show excellence means that one possesses qualities to a high degree. Every one of you already holds qualities of excellence. This year challenge yourself to make it far more visible, be it in the classroom or outer world. Each student would be pushed to stretch their boundaries and take advantage of not only the academic but the co-curricular activities of the school as well. The right balance of academics and co-curricular activities facilitates the development of multiple intelligence, honing talent and intellect, and thus fostering all-around development.

I believe every stakeholder is a learner and everyday is an opportunity to learn and discover. We consider ourselves as a community where everyone learns including our teachers, parents and staff.

Emphasis is also laid on imbibing the virtues of being humble, empathetic, compassionate, fair, true, conscious about sustainable goals which will go a long way to becoming responsible citizens of our country. Your child's learning involves and revolves around an effective partnership between home and school.We know that stronger the partnership, the more are the benefits for the child's growth.
